Interactive Map & Geotagged Search

Finding the exact property or neighborhood vantage point is powered by PostGIS geospatial indexing. The search engine allows real estate agents to locate images by street address, map radius, category, season, and atmospheric conditions.

1. Using the Interactive Map​

Navigate to Browse / Kaikki kuvat (/images) and switch to the Map View:

  • Clustered Map Pins: Numbers indicate the quantity of high-resolution images captured in a specific neighborhood or street block.
  • Pin Hover & Inspection: Hover over any pin to inspect the visual thumbnail, capture altitude, weather conditions, and credit price tier.
  • Radial Distance Search: Click and pan to discover imagery captured within 200m, 500m, or 2km of your listing.
  • Pinpoint Alignment: Every photo contains verified GPS metadata extracted from drone flight telemetry or photographer camera EXIF.

2. Category Filters​

Refine results using standardized real estate category tags:

  • 🚁 Aerial / Drone (aerial): Vistas captured between 30m and 120m altitude, showcasing building rooflines, plot orientations, lake/sea proximity, and block layout.
  • 🏢 Facades (facade): Street-level and elevated exterior shots focusing on architecture, entryways, and courtyards.
  • 🚇 Transit & Transport (transit): Nearby metro stations, commuter rail hubs, tram stops, and major road connections.
  • 🛍️ Services & Retail (services): Shopping centers, grocery stores, health clinics, and daily conveniences.
  • ⛹️ Sports & Outdoors (sports_outdoor): Sports parks, swimming halls, running tracks, golf courses, and marinas.
  • 🏊 Amenities & Leisure (amenities): Beaches, lakes, scenic viewpoints, and neighborhood recreation spots.

3. Seasonal & Weather Filtering​

A core value of Frontpics is solving the seasonal timing dilemma: when listing a home in the slush of November or grey winter, agents can search for lush summer drone imagery taken during peak blooming season.

Seasonal Filters:​

  • ☀️ Summer: Full green canopies, sunlit waters, vibrant lawns, and active outdoor terraces.
  • 🍂 Autumn: Rich golden and orange foliage, dramatic clouds, and clear air.
  • ❄️ Winter: Crisp snow cover, winter wonderland vistas, and holiday ambient lighting.
  • 🌱 Spring: Early morning crisp light, melting ice, and awakening greenery.

Lighting & Time of Day:​

  • Golden Hour / Twilight: Warm, cinematic sunset and dusk lighting that elevates luxury homes.
  • Bright Midday: High clarity and even illumination across all building sides.
  • Blue Sky vs Overcast: Filter according to your aesthetic preference or match your existing listing photos.

4. Multi-Image Property Bundles​

When multiple images of the same building or neighborhood development are available, the property detail modal groups them into a cohesive view. Agents can preview all available angles and purchase a complete bundle or pick individual shots to complement their existing listing package.
