Workflow
1. Uploading Images
- Go to the Upload page from your dashboard (or use the Delivery Channel to send client photos while choosing marketplace assets).
- Drag and drop your photos (JPEG, PNG, WebP, or TIFF) into the browser with no file quantity limits.
- Automatic Metadata Extraction: Our system reads camera EXIF data automatically, resolving GPS coordinates and timestamps for map discovery.
- Pricing: Set your desired image price (recommended 5 credits / image).
2. Moderation and Review
- Uploaded photos enter the review queue (
pending_review). - Frontpics moderators review photos for visual clarity, sharpness, aesthetics, and commercial relevance.
- During review, moderators categorize images and confirm pricing tiers (Tier 1: up to 20 credits, Tier 5: free).
- Upon approval, watermarks are applied securely and images go live on the marketplace.
3. Earning Royalties
- Every time an agent buys your image, sales royalties are credited directly to your creator wallet.
- Monitor per-image performance on the Earnings tab (shows list price, sales count, and total royalties).
4. Payouts
- Photo sales commissions are calculated and disbursed automatically on the last day of each calendar month along with a monthly statement.
- You can also request a manual withdrawal on the Payouts tab whenever your IBAN, BIC, and payout email are configured in your profile (processing time 5–7 business days).
5. Find and Claim Photoshoot Jobs
- Open Actions → Jobs to see open photoshoot requests in your area.
- Requests can include a bounty. The first photographer to confirm an open request claims it; claimed requests are no longer available to others.
- The claim email opens the localized claim page, where you can review the address, weather preference, requested date, description, and payout before accepting.
- After claiming, use Actions → Upload to select the accepted photoshoot and apply its address and request details to the upload.
6. Delivery Channel
Use Actions → Deliveries when you need to send a finished set directly to an agent.
- Use the address lookup to fill the property address, postal code, and city.
- Enter the agent's email. If the agent has a Frontpics account, their name and company can be filled automatically.
- Upload the complete set, classify indoor and outdoor images, choose which images are public in the marketplace, and set individual prices.
- Send the delivery to generate a secure client link. The agent receives a notification and can access the delivered files from that link.
Image statuses are shown as Draft, Pending Review, Active, Rejected, or Archived. Only approved active images are discoverable in the marketplace.
🌟 Best Practices
- Upload Seasonal Variation: Weather and seasonal changes are crucial for real estate agents. Winter facade shots are invaluable when active listings only have summer photos.
- Ensure Accurate GPS: Ensure your drone or camera GPS module is enabled. Geotagged images appear accurately in map-based agent searches.
- Intellectual Property Rights: You retain full copyright ownership of your photos. Buyers receive a commercial usage license for property marketing.
