Ordering Custom Photoshoots (Capture Requests)
When your listing requires a specific angle, a newly completed building, or an aerial vista not yet available in the catalog, real estate agents can order a targeted photoshoot directly through the platform.
1. How Capture Requests Work
- Submit Request: Specify the target property address, desired weather conditions, required date, and instructions.
- Set a Credit Bounty: Choose an optional credit incentive (0, 25, 50, or 100 credits) to motivate nearby photographers.
- Local Pilot Matching: Active, licensed drone pilots and photographers in the municipality receive an automatic alert.
- Claim & Shoot: A photographer claims the gig, shoots the property according to your specifications, and uploads the deliverables.
- Review & Access: Once approved, the delivered imagery is added directly to your account.
2. Submitting a Capture Request
Navigate to Actions → Order Photoshoot (/buyer/capture-request).
Step 1: Address & Geolocation
- Enter the street address, postal code, and municipality.
- The address autocomplete pinpoints the coordinates on the interactive PostGIS map, ensuring photographers locate the exact building and plot boundaries.
Step 2: Weather Preferences
Real estate drone photography depends heavily on atmospheric conditions. Choose your required lighting:
- ☀️ Sunny (Kirkas paiste): Optimal for crisp, high-contrast facade and aerial drone photography.
- ⛅ Partly Cloudy (Puolipilvinen): Soft diffused natural light that prevents harsh shadows on complex facades.
- ☁️ Any Daylight (Säällä ei väliä): Choose this for urgent listings where timing is more important than clear blue skies.
Step 3: Requested Date & Deadline
Select an optional target date or deadline (e.g. before the official listing launch on portals).
Step 4: Credit Bounty Tiers
Bounties are held in escrow from your credit balance and awarded to the photographer upon successful delivery:
| Bounty | Priority Level | Photographer Response Time |
|---|---|---|
| 0 Credits | Community Wishlist | Photographers shoot when operating in the area |
| 25 Credits | Standard Shoot | Typical claim within 24–48 hours |
| 50 Credits | Priority Order | Fast claim; preferred weather window targeting |
| 100 Credits | VIP Fast Track | Top priority; immediate pilot dispatch |
Step 5: Specific Instructions & Angles
Add any details to guide the photographer:
- Target elevations (e.g. "Capture sea views from the 6th-floor balcony elevation").
- Boundaries (e.g. "Highlight the private garden plot and courtyard pergola").
- Nearby amenities (e.g. "Include an aerial angle showing the walkway to the nearby metro station").
3. Tracking Your Request
You can track the progress of active requests under Actions → Photoshoot Requests:
- Pending: Request is broadcast to local photographers.
- Claimed: A local photographer has accepted the job and scheduled the flight.
- Completed: Photos have been captured, processed, and uploaded for your review.
If no photographer claims a paid bounty request within the deadline, the reserved credits are automatically returned to your wallet balance.
